§ 01 — Problem
Three things go wrong between the synthesiser and your bench.
None of them are exotic. They are the ordinary failure modes of a market where the paperwork is optional.

The COA arrives after the money does
Most suppliers will send a certificate if you email and ask, and some of what comes back is a PDF for a different lot entirely. You cannot evaluate a reagent you have already paid for.

The lot number on the vial isn't on the certificate
A purity figure that can't be tied to the vial in your hand is a marketing number. Traceability is a two-way link or it is nothing.

Nobody can tell you how it was stored
Lyophilised peptide is stable; it stops being stable after a week on a loading dock in August. Without a handling record, the assay describes a material that no longer exists.
§ 02 — Release spec
What ships with every vial.
The release specification is the same for every catalogue item. A lot that misses any line does not ship — it is quarantined and the COA for the failed assay is published anyway.

Deliberately narrow. Every sequence we list is one we can source from a single qualified manufacturer and re-assay on a fixed method, so lot-to-lot comparison actually means something.

§ 04 — Chain of custody
How a lot reaches you.
We are not a synthesis house and we don't pretend to be. We qualify manufacturers, re-test what they send, and take responsibility for the number we publish.

Step 01
Sourced from a qualified manufacturer
Solid-phase synthesis at a facility we have audited, against a fixed specification and a single method per sequence. One manufacturer per sequence — we would rather carry less than reconcile two suppliers' chromatography.

Step 02
Re-assayed independently on arrival
Every lot is re-tested by an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory that has no commercial relationship with the manufacturer. We publish that lab's numbers, not the ones that came in the box.

Step 03
Released, published, and shipped cold
The COA goes into a public library indexed by lot number before the lot is listed for sale. Vials ship on gel packs with a temperature record you can read against the certificate.

Talk to whoever released your lot.
Not a ticket queue. Tell us the sequence and the assay you care about, and you will hear back from the person who signed the certificate.

What these materials are, and are not.
For laboratory research use only. Peptra products are sold as research reagents for in-vitro and laboratory investigation by qualified personnel. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics or dietary supplements.
Not for human or veterinary use. These materials are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and must not be administered to humans or animals. Peptra makes no therapeutic claim for any sequence it lists, publishes no dosing guidance, and will decline orders where the stated use is not research.
Buyer responsibilities. Purchasers must be affiliated with a research institution or business and are responsible for handling, storage, and compliance with the law in their own jurisdiction. Availability varies by country; some sequences cannot be shipped to some destinations.
